Measure your finger in under a minute — no kit, no printer. Just a strip of paper and a ruler.

Measure in 4 steps

Measure at the end of the day, when your fingers are at their largest. Use the finger you'll actually wear Aura on — usually the index, middle, or ring finger of your non-dominant hand.

  1. Wrap it around your finger

    Wrap a thin strip of paper or a piece of string snugly around the base of your finger — snug, but not so tight it digs in.

  2. Mark where it overlaps

    Make a pen mark at the exact point where the paper or string meets itself all the way around.

  3. Measure it in millimeters

    Lay the strip flat and measure from the start to your mark with a ruler. That length is your finger's circumference in millimeters.

  4. Match it to the chart

    Find your millimeter measurement in the Circumference column below. Between two sizes? Size up — fingers swell over the day.

Already own a ring that fits? Measure the inside diameter across the middle in millimeters and match it to the Diameter column instead.

Aura ships sizes 6 through 13. Between sizes, size up; fingers swell over the day. Diameter is the inside diameter of the ring. Circumference is the path your finger takes around the ring.

Sizing FAQ

I'm between sizes. Up or down?

Size up. Fingers swell as the day goes on, after meals, and during summer. A snug ring at 9am will fight you by 4pm.

Will my dominant hand be a different size?

Usually 1/2 size larger than the non-dominant hand. Aura is normally worn on the non-dominant index, middle, or ring finger.

Can I wear Aura on my pinky or thumb?

Yes, but the PPG sensors are calibrated for index, middle, and ring fingers. Sleep and HRV accuracy is best on those three.

What if I order the wrong size?

We'll send the right size at our cost. Return the wrong one in the prepaid mailer once your replacement arrives. 30-day window, no questions asked.

What's the most accurate way to measure at home?

String and ruler at the end of the day, with the string snug but not tight. Then match the millimeter measurement to the circumference column in the chart above.

Does Aura ship sizes outside U.S. 6-13?
