ABOUT AURA
We built a ring we'd actually wear.
Aura is a calm, useful smart ring without the luxury markup or the monthly subscription. Sleep, recovery, readiness, and a daily glucose-trend signal, from a ring that disappears on your finger.
THE WHY
Aura started as a math problem.
Premium smart rings cost $349 plus $5.99 a month. That's $420.88 in year one and $71.88 a year forever, for the same five sensors any decent finger-side PPG ring already has. We sat with it and realized the metal was fine. The sensors were fine. The math was wrong.
So we built a ring with the same five sensors, the same battery week, the same comfort, and the same sleep accuracy. We dropped the subscription, tightened the app down to the things people actually open, and added one feature most rings don't touch: a daily glucose-trend signal estimated from PPG patterns.
Aura isn't a luxury good. It's a tool that sits on your hand quietly and gives you better mornings.
FOUNDER NOTE
I wanted a ring I could wear to a meeting, to the gym, and to bed without thinking about it. I wanted the sensors that change my mornings, not a feature list that pads a marketing deck. And I wanted to stop paying my own data back to a company every month for the privilege of looking at it.
Aura is the ring I wanted to buy. It's the ring I wear. We hope it earns its place on yours.

Sensors: only the five that matter.
Heart rate, HRV, blood oxygen, skin temperature, and PPG. Adding more would have padded the spec sheet without changing what the app shows you.

Pricing: hardware-only.
No monthly subscription. No paywalled scores. Your data is yours. The ring is yours. Year one is the same as year ten.

Finish: matte, not flashy.
Three finishes: matte black, brushed silver, soft rose. None of them shouts. All of them look right with the rest of what you wear.

App: one number, three contributors, one sentence.
The Aura app surfaces a single readiness number, the three things that drove it, and one sentence of guidance. No streaks. No paywalled coach. No data overload.

Aura is designed and engineered in the U.S. We assemble in Shenzhen because that's where the best small-electronics manufacturing in the world lives. Every ring goes through a manual QC pass at our partner workshop before it leaves. Failed units stay at the factory; they don't get sold as new.
